The infomation provided a great relief for me, I would like to be a video game tester. I have played on a variety of consoles, ps1, ps2,pc,xbox. But I have no experience as a tester, having completed my graduation,I have joined an animation course and so would like to get experience about testing, making,designing of games.

My names is Frederic, im almost 14 years old and come from Denmark. I have played diablo 2 since i was 7 years old i think.

I have played and leaded my counter strike clan in a year now. We are playing at the biggest cups in Denmark atm. Right now im notplaying Diablo 2, but im playing alot with my guild in “ladder slasher” thats a flash game, at a big diablo 2 website.

Im playing ps2,ps3,and nitendo. At my ps2 i play alot of Guitar Hero World Tour. I will love to test some pc games. I hobe i can help alot with testing games, so ppl can enjoy a good pc game:)

hi im jason im 16 years of age im in to xbox 360 and the ps3 i have owned both of the consoles and really enjoyed them i mostly play rpg game like morrowind and oblivion and so on could u tell me a good site were i can get a job as a game tester becuse its a job that i really think would suit me well thanks.

hey whats sup, my names Robert and i’m 15. My d.o.b. is feburay 24th 1993 i will be turning 16 in a short couple of days. Video games was always throughout my life. when i turned 6 my dad got me the nintendo64 i beat the legend of Zelda which was my first game and i guess it was that click that made me in love with games today. Ive played console after console and i realize how much i really do love video games. so i truly want to expand my ways in the video game world. Ive actually gone through the program reality factor ( a game building setup) and even though I’m still in the start. I’m getting used to the basics. i am dedicated to any task you give me and i promise 110% satisfaction when i deliver.

Hey what’s going on? My names Martell and i noticed alot of resumes that were being used would have the game testers blog and/or website which gave notice to what useful information the gamer believed to find throughout his game experience. What is your personal Opinion on whether it’s better to keep a blog or start from scratch and make a well presented website. I am still trying to get my foot in the door so I think i might want to try a blog but i don’t want to come off as too generic. I also noticed there are many different sites for which you can host you’re blog. Do you have any experience with these different blog hosts and can give insight to which would be more user friendly, simple as well as offer various ways to differentiate from others?

Hi, my name is marcus. I am 14 years old and almost 15. I’ve recently given thought to video game testing. I’m good at testing xbox and online games. For online games, if the people miss somthing like a glitch or a hack.

I notify them so they can patch it up. But i really want to become a game tester. Any ideas where i can become a game tester and test the games from home.

Hi Jesse
Although video game testing sounds glamorous (well, it is really ), it’s still quite difficult to really break through into the industry. Nevertheless, it can obviously be done. The best thing to do is probably the simplest thing to do – Google “video game testing” and work through the sites. You’d be surprised with what you can come up with.

Sites such as craigslist’s often have job opportunities advertised and game testing forums and blogs are often a goldmine of untapped riches! It really is just a case of spending a bit of your time searching the internet.

Hi Martin
The only thing I can really suggest in your situation is to actually contact the main companies directly and see if they are currently hiring home testers. I am sure a person of your academic qualifications and obvious love of gaming will have no problem securing a position.

The only thing you may need though is a bit of patience. In the meantime, surf the internet and try to find relevant forums, blogs and sites about game testing; you may be surprised at what you find.
