im fifteen and about about 16 i am a video game fanatic and i have a xbox 360 gamecube n64 and am getting a wii i can realy tell detail on my 47 inch flatscreen tv so i wanted a job in video game bata testing i know i would enjoy it. oh and could you give a list of componys that are hireing OH and i dont care about what kind of game it is

To the people below me. You have to be 18 to get into paid game testing. I’ve tested games for free when I was 16 till I was 17. Look into any big shot game companies in your area. Even if it’s not game related test it. Get a sense on how you test things. I tested the Kinect before it was named the Kinect.

I am currently applying to be a game tester for Volt and VMC. How the TV and advertisements play out testing is not how it actually is. Yes you get to play games and get paid, but it’s only a fragment of the game and you have to replay it over and over. It might not be all that fun for you.

Also if you own a high end computer apply for beta tests on the PC, or look for possible beta tests for your console of choice on the Internet. It is easy to get into Game Testing as long as you don’t sit on your ass, and scratch your head thinking. “I’m 15, and I want to game test.. What do I do?”

Game tester, that’s a job that I and probably the whole gaming community would want to do. Gaming has become a my greatest passion in my life. I felt like I was born with a gaming remote in my hands. Right now I am 15 years of age but soon I am going to push myself into doing this. Game testing sounds like a insane opportunity. Can’t wait to join the game testing community. game testing……. I want to be a game tester, I pretty much can adapt to any games, Just wondering if you guys are hiring.My friend is under 18 and is a game tester for you guys at EA. He gets games from you guys, then he plays for about an hour and then goes to your website and gives a review of the games. So I was wondering if i could sign up for game testing for you guys.

Lol shyt everyone else is doing it why shouldnt I? Im 16 going on 17 in the next month. I bet it doesnt matter what games ive been but ive played or at least done research on mainstream games as well as the little side notes. Played games from Sega,Capcom,Sony,Nintendo,Microsoft,Square Enix, and Konami, all them companies which should be known by the average gamer. Ive helped people out in beta testing on a site called byond were they can make thier own games and what not.

Been playing games since i was 6 years old, owning a Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Sega DreamCast, PSX,PS2,PS3,Xbox 360, Gamecube,Nintendo Wii, PSP, Gameboy Micro, Gameboy, Gameboy Advanced, Gameboy SP, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo DSi…i like finding the flaws in peoples work after playing the Phoenix Wright series so id be taking the job based on finding flaws and not trying to play the latest games. I kinda would like to know where these applications are…

Hello, i was wondering if there is any way to become a video game tester and get paid for doing so, but without having to pay a fee. im 15 years old and i love video games. i have a ps3 with about ten games( whenever a new game comes out i sell the old ones). i am really good at video games and know alot about them. i want a job that i want to wake up and do, so i started reasearching on becoming a video game tester. but whenever i find a website and i get my hope up, it says that to become a video game tester for us you have to pay.

i cant really pay the money, thats why i was looking for a job in the first place. plus what if i pay and i dont get the job then what, im out 50 bucks thats what. anyway i just wanted to see if anybody could help me in finding a job in video game testing without haveing to pay. please help me, if there isnt the slightest chance that i will be able to become a video game tester then just feel free to tell me, ill just go find a job at something that i dont love. please if there is anyway you can help me, im begging you please help me.

Hey,
I am 16 years old. I have wanted a job working with video games for some time now. I have been looking at websites for video game testers and I am tired of all the websites that want you to pay a $50 or more member fee.

I have played video games my whole life. I started with the game boy color playing pokemon blue and yellow. Then my brother and I got the N64 with 007 golden eye and legend of zelda. My grandma had a super nintendo laying around so she gave that to us. Next was the gameboy advance, sp, gamecube, ds, xbox, ps2, wii, and last but not least xbox 360(not in chronological order).

I love video games and i wish to design then one day but until then i want a job. My mom is always telling me i need a job so she told me to work at Walgreens. I don’t want to work there because that’s not something I love. I told her I want to be a tester and she said good luck with that.

So if I could get any help I would be very thankful.
Even if it’s to tell me to stop dreaming and wasting my time, just go to Walgreens

Hello,
I am 19 years old. I have wanted to become a beta tester for sometime now, but I have lacked the knowledge and resources to do so. I was wondering if there was anyway that you could help me out. I own a Ps3 (with the playstation move), I owned a wii (my friend now has it.), A xbox 360 (with Kinect)I don’t know if this matters but my gamer score for my Xbox live is over 10,000.

I have played & beaten Oblivion for the xbox 360 as well as all of the call of duty games for it I have also beaten assassins creed 2 in less than 10 hours. I have played pretty much all the Final Fantasy games. I am very well knowledgeable about the gaming industry.

I also own a Dell inpiron 1420 with windows vista as well as a desktop fitted with windows 7. Video games have always been a passion of mine ever since I owned the NES system. I love video games i want to do it as my job. I helped one of my friends dads who made maps in the computer game Counter-Strike Source find glitches (problems)in his maps, I didn’t get paid for it but I liked it all the same. I hope you can help me out. Thank you for your time

I am 17 turning 18 in Jan and i think this would be a good starting job for me since i am going to be going to school for Game Design Bachlor… when i turn 18 im going to get my GED and drivers license but i could use some extra money now to save up for it… i am an avid gamer i play Fallout 3, Dragon Age Origins, Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, World of Warcraft, The Sims 3, Both Uncharted Drakes Fortune and Among Thieves, Ratchet and Clank Future. A Crack in Time, Little Big Planet, Borderlands, Resident Evil 5, and Final Fantasy XIII.

hey, im not the average “no life” gamer i have a 3.5 gpa play varcity soccer and still fins time for video games. im good at finsing the most miniscule thing there is and exploiting it. im also known on many online gaming sites like funorb, footballsuperstar, i just got fifa 11 and im buying the 360 tommorow. i’m also looking to get my first job as a bag boy at kroger. im just saying all this to tell you there is people who actually have the talent out there, and a life, to do this. sorry for grammer, on phone

i just turned 18 2 days ago, and this is exactly what ive been wanting to do sense i was 11 years of age. i know you here people say ( oh ive been playing games for 8 years can i be a game tester? ) well i hate to say this about myself but i had quit school to play video games. i was so obsessed with Halo 1,2,3 World of warcraft, Call of duty, rainbow six, oblivion.

ive won several tournaments on halo. and was actually first place on the most popular tournament site. called Gamebattles.com ever sense i was 6 and i was watching my grandpa play Zelda for the Nintendo i was SO fascinated with playing games. i started to play with him and we beat the game in 1month or so. i always had a STRONG passion for video games. the only reason im on my computer is because i was looking forward to becoming a gametester. i understand that u have to find and fix Bugs in the games, i honestly dnt get bored with video games at all.

This might sound like im lying but i have no reason to lie. i love video games. and if im making money playing them. my life would be complete. yea maybe after a couple more years of playing these mmorpg, rpgs , and shooters. my eyes would sould start to hurt. but i recentley just got glasses. and ive been wearing them ever sense.

i HONESTLY have the passion and the desire to have this job. i was put on this planet for this exact reason. i stay up around 2-3 in the morning playing video games. doesnt matter if its pc, or consoles. but if i had a choice i would say i play consoles a liitle bit more.

the average day of a tester is this: you are given a level or area to test. you press each and every button and run into every single wall. if you fall through the wall, you note it. you continue this all day until you leave. there is NO glamour to video game testing. you will learn to hate the game you’ve always wanted to play.
